MVP Chrysin
A well-known supplement
Chrysin is a naturally occurring isoflavone chemically extracted from the plant Passiflora coerulea. Bodybuilders have used it for decades. However, there are not so many studies done on chrysin.
Testosterone: estrogen ratios
Commonly agreed that chrysin may be helpful in limiting aromatase activity, aromatase is an enzyme responsible for conversion of androstenedione and testosterone into estrogen. Keeping testosterone: estrogen ratios in balance can be an important element in any training regimen. It can be beneficial in terms of gaining lean muscle mass for male athletes after 30, since at this age testosterone levels start to gradually decline, more likely due to a testosterone conversion into estradiol.* Some animal studies have displayed that chrysin can produce a relaxing effect in the brain but with no impairment of motor activity (1) or provide anxiolytic actions (2).
CHRYSIN 250™ contains piperine
Several pilot studies have shown that poor absorption of pure chrysin can be enhanced by adding piperine, however further studies are needed to be done.
DOSAGE-ADULTS: As an herbal dietary supplement, take 1 capsule 1 to 3 times a day with a meal.
