NOW DMG (Dimethylglycine)
A non-essential amino acid. DMG is an intermediate in the metabolism of the non-essential amino acid glycine, which is involved in protein synthesis. When DMG (Dimethylglycine) was first discovered, it was referred to as Vitamin B16, also known as Pangamic Acid. But over time its true structure and function have classified it as a non-essential amino acid. Anecdotal benefits over a wide range of conditions have made this a desired supplement.
DMG (Dimethylglycine), also known as Pangamic Acid, is a derivative of the amino acid Glycine. DMG is an important methyl donor that participates in numerous biochemical pathways and is important for glutathione synthesis. It may also help to support optimal cellular oxygen utilization, promote the neutralization of free radicals and support lymphocyte production.
