As a certified organic source, this ensures that only non-GMO seeds are used in producing this oil. Flaxseed oil is a source of Omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids. One tablespoon provides 7g of Omega 3 fatty acids; 2 g of Omega 6 fatty acids; a total of 10g of Polyunsaturated fatty acids, and 2.5g of monounsaturated fatty acids. Flaxseed oil is cholesterol and sodium-free, plus it does not contain trans fats, making this a heart-healthy food. Dark bottles protect this unstable oil from oxidation and contamination. Flaxseed oil products have been used for many different health conditions such as many digestive conditions (including regularity), hyperlipedemia, and blood health issues, but further studies need to verify its effectiveness conclusively. Suggested Usage:
Take 1 tablespoon (15 mL) 1-2 times daily preferably with meals. Suitable in salad dressing oil, sauces, peanut butter, yogurt and protein shakes; it can also be used in place of butter on rice, potatoes or toast. REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING.
