Magnesium is a mineral that is involved in over 300 biochemical processes in the body. We are using MAGNESIUM GLYCINATE DIHYDRATE-11.7 % MG-FULLY REACTED which is a fully bound chelated mineral. Fully reacted is a term commonly used by the mineral industry, to denote a fully bound material. In this particular case it denotes a 2:1 ratio of glycine to magnesium, and the molecular formula is C4H8O4N2Mg?2H2O . Partially reacted, conversely, is a term usually used to describe a material that does not react the mineral salt in its entirety. They are formulated by not using the proper ratio between the mineral and ligand. These kinds of products are also described as not fully bound, or fortified.
